What is Angkas?
Angkas is an on-demand motorcycle booking service. You start by downloading the mobile app which is available both on iOS and Android. Booking is similar to Grab and Uber.
Angkas is the modern way of booking a motorcycle taxi.

Angkas Coverage / Service Area
The motorcycle taxi service by Angkas has been around for a while now. It is very popular in the central business district of Makati, Pasay, Mandaluyong, Ortigas and other cities in the Metro.

How to apply as Angkas Rider
To apply and be accredited as Angkas Rider, you should apply online. The application is very simple and if you submit the needed requirements, you can be approved as a rider very fast.
The Angkas Rider Application is done online. There is no more walk-in application as stressed by Angkas management.

What are the requirements
Qualifications:
- You MUST be a holder of a valid Professional Driver’s License
- You own 2010 Motorcycle or a newer model. Angkas only accept the following major brands of motorcycle: Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, SYM, Euro, & Kymco
Requirements:
- Original NBI clearance
- Original Police / Barangay Clearance
- Photocopy of the motorcycle OR-CR
- Photocopy of the valid professional license, 2 copies
IF YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER OF THE MOTORCYCLE, you need to submit these documents:
- Authorization letter / Deed of sale
- Photocopy of ID of registered owner
IF YOU ARE THE ONE APPLYING AS A RIDER: you need to bring and provide an Android smartphone with at least Android 4.0 KitKat OS.

Once your requirements are complete, the next step is to apply online.

You will upload copies of the following documents in the online application. Original NBI Clearance (Expired is not allowed), Original Police o Brgy. Clearance (Expired is not allowed), Driver’s License (Student and NON-Pro is not accepted), Motorcycle OR/CR

Angkas Rider Training
If what you submitted in the online application is complete and documents are not expired. Angkas will text (SMS) you within two (2) business days. In that text, you will be informed of your training schedule.
DO NOT DELETE the text you get from Angkas. This will be your passport to get inside the Angkas Training Center. You will show the text to the guard on duty.
Angkas training is free.
