The flagship HTC U11 officially launches here in PH

After a short delay, HTC is finally back here in the Philippines with the launch of four new smartphones. But first, let us look the flagship phone from the Taiwanese company, the HTC U11.

To recap the features, the all new HTC U11 is a 5.5-inch 3D display with Quad HD resolution and has an Edge display. This new feature allows the user to squeeze the device if they want to launch easily their favorite apps or just taking a photo. In the camera, when you squeeze the phone in a single motion, it’ll automatically turn to the selfie mode. Further, the use of Edge display is to get Voice Assistants from both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Speaking of the camera, the rear camera is a 12-megapixel lens (UltraPixel) with f/1.7 aperture for capturing exceptional photos, especially in low-lighting scenes. It also incorporates full new sensor auto-focus that will get faster capturing to an image, even for taking moving objects and live footage.

Moreover, the back camera of the phone has achieved a 90 points score from DxoMark. This benchmark is used for analyzing images and video quality of a particular device like smartphones, drone cameras and other types of camera lens in the market.

On the other side, the front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with wide-angle lens for better selfies. It has HDR boost, so that the users may enjoy taking wide range of selfie modes, including noise reduction.

The HTC U11 is an IP67 certified, it means that the handset can resist with a water splash for 90 minutes and further, the smartphone will be able to operate using gloves, particularly during the cold or rainy seasons.
