Work hard, play hard has never been more important than it is now. As more people work and learn from home, they are looking for equipment that will not only keep them productive but also make them ready for the next game or project. An IT professional who has worked for a long time knew that this growing market needed more help, so he built PhoenixLab to help. In addition to LOCAD, which provides on-demand warehouse space and multi-channel fulfillment, he has the help of a cloud logistics network called LOCAD.
Online selling on easy mode
A lot has changed since LOCAD joined the team. Now, PhoenixLab’s operations are more efficient, but that hasn’t always been the case! Before LOCAD, Gruezo had a hard time providing top-of-the-line products and services to his customers because of problems with fulfillment. LOCAD makes it easier for him to do this. With pick-ups not coming on time, or not at all, he had to come up with ways to deal with that. He also had to manage and sort the orders correctly before shipping them out.
“Since I have other delivery partners, I also had to coordinate with all their couriers to schedule the pick-up from the warehouse. That was the second pain point. But what if they didn’t go? Sometimes the riders get lost, then orders also get lost,” he recalls.
The pain points that Gruezo says his business was having have been solved by using LOCAD now, so “everything has become smooth and automated.”
His shop’s cross-platform integration with LOCAD was also what sold him on the service because it helped him earn a lot more money in just one online market.
It was important for Gruezo to have multiple online stores in order to grow his business, but he couldn’t do it on his own because managing inventory for two stores would be too much for him alone. Lucky for him, he had LOCAD.
Gruezo started selling again in the market where he had been absent for a long time. The only thing that changed was that he replaced his old fulfillment partners with LOCAD. “Sales doubled,” says the person.
Perfecting customer satisfaction
People who want to start an e-commerce business now have a better chance of getting new customers if they can make things easier for people and make the experience more seamless, according to LOCAD’s 2022 e-commerce trend report. Despite the fact that this is a unique problem for online businesses, the ones that do well and keep their customers spend 1.2x more than those who don’t do well and leave.
By giving great customer service, new businesses like PhoenixLab can get off to a good start in a very competitive field like office and gaming supplies.
The people who use PhoenixLab these days are people who work with computers, people who run online businesses, and people who are just learning how to use them. Gruezo is sure that their high-quality products, like laptop accessories, desk organizers, and gaming chairs, keep these customers coming back and making them happy and repeat customers. It’s a very different situation from the one he had to deal with years ago: the general distrust of online shopping in the Philippines.
Many stores just sell products and don’t care about how good they are. This is what Gruezo blames on. The customer isn’t important once they sell something or there are problems. They just don’t pay attention to them. Because of this, people think it’s hard to buy something online.
It was a way of thinking that he strongly didn’t like. When Gruezo was a customer, he thought about how important it was to give a great experience, even if he lost out. “Even if I lose out, I take care of the customers.”
Before LOCAD, Gruezo was always worried about customer feedback because his former fulfillment partners sometimes didn’t package things right. LOCAD has changed all that.
“My old delivery partner was also very quick,” I said. “However, when there were campaigns like 2/2 or 12/12, they didn’t know about these events and the sudden spikes in sales,” he says. In these campaigns, I had the most problems with missing things.
It also solved his packaging problems, and his customers were happy with the speed and safety of their work-from-home and gaming equipment when it was delivered to them by LOCAD.
Leveling up
Today, things are running smoothly, so Gruezo can spend his time on other things that need his attention. One of the things he wants to do soon is add LOCAD to PhoenixLab’s website so that customers can buy things directly from them and get them the next day. Even if COVID-19 doesn’t become popular in your country, Gruezo thinks that working from home is still going to happen.
In the past, people didn’t see the value of working from home. This may still be the case in the years to come. What he says: “I will keep selling more products and making them work together to keep up with it.”
If you’re just starting a business and don’t want to worry about your deliveries, Gruezo says you should work with LOCAD because it’s so easy to use.
He says, “Using LOCAD is a good way to save money.” It’s not just one month that you have to pay if you rent a warehouse or hire someone to work for you. You also have to pay them every month. LOCAD, on the other hand, only charges you for what you use, so you only pay for what you use. “If there’s a sudden surge or change in orders, you can quickly grow or shrink your business.”
There have been more sales and customers who come back to PhoenixLab. Slowly, but surely, the company is meeting its goal of helping its customers achieve a remote work-life balance one Filipino at a time. Then, Gruezo says, “They can work harder, be more productive, and play harder, having a lot of fun with their games.”
