Most of the time we only talk about the top brands when it comes to smartphones in the Philippines. Locally competing brands includes LG, HTC, Sony, Samsung, Lenovo and Apple. There are also those who started offering their own line like Ainol, Haipad, BMorn, MyPhone.
Oppo, a Chinese manufacturer has started manufacturing Oppo Find 5, Find5 falls under the phablet category, this is a 5-inch tablet with phone capabilities. What is interesting with this smartphone is that it will be the world’s first HD phone, it will have 1920 x 1080 pixels display, and an amazing 441ppi, which is said to be the very first in the market. (iPhone 4S’ retina display has only 326ppi)

The 5-inch Oppo Find5 phablet, according to reports, will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and will be armed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor.
It will also be the thinnest smartphone measuring only 6.5mm and will be equipped with a non-removable battery.
Take a look closely, the design might be another target by Apple. Are we seeing another Samsung vs Apple scenario here? In one of the comments in this post, it says “Apple will say it is the copy of iphone lol……”
Is it coming to the Philippines? Who knows, Chinese brands like BMorn and Haipad are being sold now locally.
