Maya is once again making waves in the industry just a few weeks after the debut of its new brand because it is introducing new features that will make it even simpler for Filipinos to get a handle on their finances.
The latest improvements for the all-in-one money app in the country for the month of June include the addition of a new savings tool known as Personal Goals, as well as additional crypto coins, increased transaction limits, and enticing promotional offers.
With the release of these new features, Maya has also strengthened its close collaboration with young Filipino artists and creators. This has begun with Shanti Dope, who has released an innovative music video that ingeniously incorporates an “easter egg hunt” for the chance to win a portion of one million pesos in prizes.
“The customer response to our relaunch has been overwhelmingly positive, and our Early Access program was a smashing success. Maya’s unique all-in-one money app, which seamlessly brings together digital banking services, crypto, and an e-wallet for the customer, clearly addresses the pent-up demand for world-class financial services” said Pepe Torres, Chief Marketing Officer of Maya.
Maya Personal Goals
Maya is adding Personal Goals, a Savings feature with a 6% interest rate* that lets customers save money for specific things, like a new laptop for school, airfare for a long-awaited vacation, tickets to a music festival, a down payment on a condo unit, an emergency fund, or a small business startup fund. Personal Goals will be out by the end of June, so keep an eye out for it.
With Personal Goals, you can set up savings goals and give them names and amounts that are meaningful to you. Personal Goals can be set up for up to six months, and you can keep up to five at once. This lets you see at a glance how everything is going.
Personal Goals go well with Maya Savings, which is now available to all upgraded Maya users. Maya Savings is a digital savings account with a 6% interest rate* and is as easy to use as an e-wallet. It was first made available in early access mode when Maya was first released.
Customers with Maya Savings will also be automatically upgraded to Maya Power Users. This will let them add up to P500,000 to their Wallet and quickly transfer it to their Maya Savings account. Best of all, Maya customers can count on their app being up 99.9 percent of the time, so they can always get to their savings.
NEW Crypto Coins!
The following piece of excellent news is for those of you who are considering expanding your wealth using cryptocurrency: Algorand, Ape Coin, Avalanche, Doge, and Stellar are the five new cryptocurrencies that may now be found within the Maya app. You may now choose from 15 different coins to further diversify your portfolio with Maya. There is no need to cash in/out or acquire cryptocurrency using another app because Maya Crypto provides an all-in-one experience. This is one of the things that sets Maya Crypto apart from other cryptocurrency exchanges.
Maya username, coming up!
In the not-too-distant future, you may anticipate a more individualized interaction with Maya. Soon, you will be able to create up your very own @username that will act as your Maya identity and make it simple for your friends to send you money without having to use your mobile number or QR code. You won’t miss out on any of these incredible Maya features even when you switch to the dark mode.
1M hidden in a music video?
Taking control of your money is seamless with Maya – but who knew it could be exciting too? The all-in-one money app has blazed the trail through a creative collab with rap phenom Shanti Dope for the music anthem of this generation, entitled Maya.
The creative collab for the trending single was revealed last weekend through an easter egg hunt for P1,000,000 worth of cash prizes hidden in plain sight throughout the music video. All you need to do is watch the music video and look for the ten unique cash codes until June 9 for a chance to win prizes. Check out the Shanti X Maya Cash Code Hunt promo at www.maya.ph/shanti.
