The most popular “internet television network” Netflix has a monthly report showing the speed index of internet provider where the brand is present.

Since its arrival in PH 2016, Netflix includes the country in their regular speed index. The report measures the prime time Netflix performance on particular ISPs.

Converge ICT Solution is number 1

In the latest report (January 2018), it shows that Converge (formerly ComClark) is on top. That means streaming content from Netflix is mostly enjoyed by FiberX subscribers.

January 2017 vs 2018

The overall good news about this report is all of the ISP’s listed here have improved their speed. Converge for example improved its speed from 2.55 in January 2017 to 3.15 in January 2018. Globe improved from 2.21 to 2.37. SkyCable also leveled up from 2.16 to 2.68. However, Smart declined from 1.36 to 1.19 in the latest report.

Overall our Netflix content consumption is not bad. In our neighboring countries, there are still those who experience 1.5Mbps of internet speed.
