In the improved remittance service, Filipino consumers are given more options than ever before — both for sending and receiving money via Smart Padala Pick-up Anywhere.

Smart Padala Pick Up Anywhere
Formerly, Smart Padala is exclusive to Smart subscribers.
Today, consumers can now send remittance to any mobile phone number — Globe, Smart, TNT, TM or Sun included. The sender should fill up transaction slip, including the recipient’s mobile number along with a service fee and proof of identification.
REQUIREMENT FROM SENDER
- Transaction slip
- Sender’s mobile number
- Receiver’s mobile number
- Proof of identifaction (Government ID or company ID)
RECEIVER’S REQUIREMENT
- SMS notification of Smart Padala
- Valid ID
After the money is sent, the recipient will receive a text notification with a reference number of the Smart Padala Pick-up Anywhere transaction.
He should present this SMS to any Smart Padala Pick Up agent, present a valid ID.
As an added security, the recipient will receive a one-time verification pin that will allow him to receive his money, a new feature in online money remittance industry.
Smart Padala Branches
Previously, recipients pick up their remittances from pre-selected Smart Padala branches (centers). Today, Smart Padala has over 15,000 agents/centers. Much more than the number of Automated Teller Machines (ATM), bank brances and pawnshops in the country combined.
Smart Padala Rates
The best part of this service is the affordable rates when sending money. Smart takes only 2.5% from the amount you are sending. For example, if you are sending P1,000, you only pay P25.
Maximum amount allowed to send through Smart Padala is P10,000 per transaction.
