Rezbin, a Filipino business that specializes in recycling plastic to make trash disposal more efficient, won the grand prize at the 4th KMPG in the Philippines Innovation Summit that was held not long ago.
Rezbin won an award for its work in turning a common problem into a strategic and profit-sharing business. This earned it the spot as the Philippines’ representative at the KPMG Global Tech Innovator event in Lisbon.
In the Philippines’ second year of KPMG Global Tech Innovator, the use of AI, the importance of digital evolution, tech sustainability, and building digital trust were all emphasized.
Industry leaders, such as Sharon Dayoan, chairman and CEO of KPMG in the Philippines, and KPMG in the Philippines vice chairman and COO and head of advice, shared their knowledge with people in person and online.
