One of the few things that have not changed on Black Shark 2 compared to the previous model is the lack of a 3.5 mm audio jack. Now, although the new gaming phone was introduced only a few weeks ago, the company has already begun to plan for the future by anticipating some of its next moves.
According to a spokesperson for Black Shark at TechRadar, the Xiaomi spin-off would have already thought of inserting the 3.5 mm headphone jack into its next smartphone, adding that the absence of such a port on current gaming phone would be due to the market trend, which is pushing hard towards wireless devices and USB Type-C.
The Black Shark 2, as we remember, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, accompanied by a quantity of LPDDR4X RAM that can reach up to 12GB. Among other features of the gaming phone, we also find a new third generation contact liquid cooling system that promises, compared to other solutions, temperatures about 14 degrees lower on the CPU.
