So the most anticipated iPhone was made official earlier today, the meaning of C was finally unveiled. It wasn’t China, it was’nt even Cheap at all. The C stands for Color and Apple is bringing us green, yellow, blue, white, and red.
So how much would it be when it lands to the Philippines? No pricing yet, but Apple Hong Kong site which is the closest to us has the pricing now. The 16G is priced as HKD4,688 and if you order today it is equivalent to PhP26,487.
What gets in to the package? Apple confirms that it will ship with the iPhone 5c with iOS 7, Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic, the Lightning to USB Cable and a 5W USB Power Adapter.
Unlike the 5S, the iPhone 5C has a lower specs, it has only A6 1.2Ghz dual-core processor, 8MP iSight camera and available in 16 and 32G models. We are missing one of the current feature in all current phones today, the NFC is not included. But it is wise enough that iPhone 5C is LTE enables which is even ready for LTE-A.
iPhone 5C uses nano-SIM card, just like the iPhone 5 and 5S. What wasn’t clear with Apple is that if its LTE version will work in the Philippines, currently our country is not the listing. We will have to wait for the official announcement of Globe and Smart for this.
Apple iPhone 5C will be ready for pre-order online beginning September 13, and first shipment is expected on September 20 in Hong Kong and Singapore. Back here in the Philippines, it is expected to ruin your Christmas bonus! 🙂
