COMDDAP Expo 2010 is set on December 2-5

COMDDAP or the Computer Manufacturers Distributors and Dealers Association of the Philippines is all set for its EXPO 2010 dubbed as COMDDAP MANILA EXPO 2010 which is happening at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Philippines.

On its 24th year, this organization which is a non-profit, non-stock trade Association whose main thrust is to continuously promote the use of Information Communication & Technology to the different sectors of the society.

In an exclusive briefing to bloggers, the organizers shared the highlights and details of the upcoming Expo. There are contests that you might be interested about. Few in the list are the OLDEST PC HUNT and Imagen.I.T. Pinoy.

Bring your oldest PC, it does not have to be working condition; it should only be in complete form and its basic components intact. The Prize according to the organizers is brand new branded PC!

As for the Imagen IT Pinoy contest, its a sort of a graphics contest open to the public. So show your stuff with no limits to your creativity. No themes. No color schemes. No age brackets. Doesn’t matter how the image was made as long as it’s in digital format and conforms to the technical requirements then that’s fine.

The Manila Expo 2010 is open to the public and has no admission fee. You can get discounted stuff in the event, giveaways and you can win in their daily raffle draws.

    As for the question of Glenn, yes, some participating exhibitors usually have trade-in promos where you’d get a good price by exchanging an old product.

    The “Oldest PC Hunt” challenge is a competition event of the Expo which seeks out the oldest PC, whether working or not.

    The entry should be submitted to COMDDAP on or before 15 November 2010.

    The prize is P20,000 for the oldest PC.

  2. Is the oldest PC in exchange for a new one a contest? I remember hearing previous COMMDAPs offering great deals if you want to trade in old PCs and add little cash for a newer one.
