We were picked up by a marked vehicle at exactly 6 AM in Glorietta 4.
There are three other vans en route to Taal, Batangas for a “photo walk” with the Western Digital external drive with wireless connectivity feature and built-in SD card reader.

We had heavy breakfast in SLEX before we proceeded to Taal via Tagaytay. From our drop off point at a resort in beside the lake, we took a boat to the other side and we did horse-back riding to our final destination for the workshop.
We arrived at the venue of the workshop about 12 high-noon where the sunlight is really harsh. Photographers hate this time of the day. Some say the best time to shoot is early in the morning or late in the afternoon. But time is our opponent because we have to be back in Manila by 5PM. RV Mitra, is a veteran in his field, started to set up the workshop area, he told the model to prepare and be patient, as well as the participants.
This is how we look like during the shoot. … Basang-basa sa pawis! Whew!
RV Mitra put up two big reflectors, the first one was used as , diffuser. The harsh light from the sun must be diffused so that the light will be well distributed and becomes softer when it hit the subject. The other reflector is used to augment the missing light and to remove unnecessary shadows.
Here are the photos I shot from the workshop. I used Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver with XF35 F/1.4mm. All photos are straight out of the camera. I only resized it to fit in this blog.
WD Wireless is the latest portable/external hard drive from Western Digital. It features USB 3.0 for blazing fast file transfer from and to your PC or laptop.
