Samsung Galaxy On Max launches in India; priced at $260

Samsung India has just launched the Galaxy On Max via Flipkart, an Indian online store. It will go on sale by July 10 and priced at INR 16,900; which translate to ~P13,230 via direct conversion. The handset is almost the same as the Galaxy J7 Max when it comes to features with few differences, like the chipset used and on the camera’s physical aspect.

Like the Galaxy J7 Max, the new Galaxy On Max sports a massive 5.7-inch phablet display with 1080p resolution and features a unibody metal design for more attractive looking. It powers a 64-bit “lite” version of the Mediatek’s Helio P25, paired by 32GB ROM and large 4GB RAM. The 3,300 mAh battery helps for long-lasting usage of the phone.

Both rear and front cameras shoots a 13-megapixel lens, with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture, respectively; and has a LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is located on the home button and can be used for mobile payments, like the Samsung Pay Mini that was launched on June 2017. There’s a social media mode on the camera section that allows the user the capture selfies, put some stickers or edit them, and share them immediately.
