iPad2 SmartCover used for iPad1, a Hack

Alright, so you bought your iPad1 few weeks before iPad2 became available in the Philippines? And since you bought before the sale price, you decided to keep it. And the addition of SmartCover to iPad2 makes it more cool and the auto power on surely preserve its battery when you close the SmartCover.

And, you are impressed with the SmartCover – but, it is not available for iPad1. Worry no more, the guys at The Russian Used A Pencil made a little hack, and it works. It is pretty simple, you need a little magnets – called earth magnets.

This is a warning though: your iPad1 will not automatically turn on like of that of the iPad2! 😉 And another one: I do not know where to buy those earth magnets. Sorry.
