I received an invite on my way to office via my push e-mail in my Blackberry from Nokia PR. I casually opened it and did not read the details hoping that it was the launch of Lumia 900 invitation. In the evening when I scanned my inbox, I was surprised that the invite is special activity by Nokia for media and bloggers. There were three choices – appetizing adventure, aqua adventure or aero adventure. I easily eliminated the first two choices, I replied to the email choosing the aero adventure. It is a 15-minute helicopter ride! Yes, up in the air of the Metro ala ABS-CBN’s Sky Patrol!
At 10AM, yesterday we gathered at McDonalds in Greenbelt and headed to Delta Hangar for the much-awaited helicopter ride. At the hangar we had a little quick briefing, no taking pictures inside, but after the take off we can start snapping. Each of us were provided with Nokia Lumia 610 to take photos.
Quickly after the briefing we were up in the air already. We navigated from the airport to Pasay where we had a view of the entire Mall of Asia, then we went to the CBD of Makati and finally to Global City, Taguig. Here are some of the photos from my very first and awesome experience helicopter ride. Thank you to Nokia Philippines!
As far as Nokia phone is concerned, the Lumia branding is their come back to the current smartphone arena. With the Lumia, they made a big signal of their come back.
