Launched today is another flagship phone from HTC, few months after they launched the first ever quad-core phone in the Philippines.
HTC Philippines announced three smartphones today, but let take a look at the One – HTC One S. HTC defines it the one with the most amazing camera and audio experience ever in a slim and beautifully-crafted smartphone.
Lets get started with the features first. One S will have a micro-SIM, as expected it will be shipped with Android 4.0 or the ICS OS from Google, AMOLED screen which according to HTC, will perform 60% longer battery life vs the HTC Sensation. Screen size is 4.3″ with screen resolution of 540 x 960.
It has 8MP camera with flash, can do video capture and same as the One X, can take photos while capturing videos. Beats has become a standard with the HTC smartphones, Music Center, and Sycn Manager. Camera take up to 60 shots consecutively at 4 frames per second. Like the One X it has also a 28mm F2.0 lens which allows the phone to take photos even in low light conditions.
Sporting a CPU speed of 1.7Ghz dual core, memory of 16G, 1G of RAM and, you get a 25G Dropbox cloud storage for 2 years. Battery is 1650mAh.
It is shock resistant, but not shock proof unlike the One X.
It will retail for the price of P26,990
