I have a hate and love relationship with all the portable Bluetooth speakers that we review at Tech Patrol. I’d fell in love with them at first and then hate will develop as attraction fades together with their battery life. I’ll tell you something, I am in love again, and this time with the LG Sound 360.
LG Sound 360 Review
Design & Build
It looks like a super expensive mug because of the packaging and the design. It is about seven (7) inches high and it is made of a ceramic-like material.
The charging port, a micro USB is located at the bottom and beside the port is a LED indicator that lights up during charging.
The speakers pop out the top when pressed down. The bottom part plays a big role during audio playback. It acts as the base bringing clear and balanced sound from the portable speaker.
Playback can either be controlled from the source of the audio (i.e. smartphone or mp3 player) or at the touch-controlled panel on top of the speakers.
You need to push the top to turn it on and it illuminates. Controls are touch sensitive and there is another LED around the controls that light up especially when waiting for the Bluetooth connection.
Audio Quality
You get a “distributed” sound from this speakers because of its design. I’ve tested this in our condo and the entire room is filled with the “surround” sound it creates. So whether you are in a small office, conference room, gym, or in a small get-together, this bad ass will deliver.

Battery Life
When its advertisement says 20 hours of playback, they mean it. Thanks to the 5,200mAH built-in Lithium-ion battery. In my own experience, it can reach even more than 20 hours especially when the volume is at only 50% or less.

Now when it come to charging the huge battery, you need a good timing for this. Because quick charging won’t work on this device. You need long hours to fill the 5,200mAH battery. At least five hours is required. So better charge it before you sleep at night.
Conclusion
I like the design of the LG Sound 360. It is also lightweight and very portable. It fit your backpack or your office bag. The quality of the audio is also superb. I get clear and solid even when the volume is maxed at 100%.
If there are cons about this speaker is the price and the battery charging.
SRP of the LB Sound 360 is P8,660.
