How to open a bank account using Maybank2u PH mobile app

You have to go through a process.

But you have to start by downloading the Maybank2U PH mobile app.

Fill up the online form from the phone. The basics first – First Name, Middle Name, Surname. Mother’s Maiden Name, e-mail address, mobile phone number. etc.

The usual registration is not compared to the usual website’s registration.

Remember that you are transacting with a bank. They require crucial information about you. So be patient, but it won’t take you half a day to do it. Just a few minutes.

The whole process is a lot better compared if you are going to line up to the bank and open an account.

Aside from the basic information, you also need either your SSS ID or TIN number.

The final process is where you provide your government-issued ID.  You need to provide a picture like the one below.

There should be a visible signature of you above the government-issued ID.

Finally, you need the most important picture to upload, your selfie. Yes, ma’am, sir.  Take the best selfie and upload it. And then you are done.
