Software giant Microsoft has partnered with PH’s 55-year old telephone directory company to further assist the growing industry of the SMEs. DPC or Directory Philippines Corporation which markets Yellow Pages launches a program that will enable SME with faster and cost-efficient access to Office 365. In this partnership, Barhead will do the implementation, being the one of the country’s Microsoft Partner with Gold and Silver partnership with the giant software company.
The partnership is also in line with DPC’s goal of implementing a digital business model that complements its print YP business, will provide Microsoft with an opportunity to reach out to more SME in the country.
Mr. Ricardo Bautista, President of DPC Yellow Pages shared that even at his age, he was able to understand the report prepared by his employees. He is referring to a Microsoft Office report generated out of Office 365 which has been implemented at DPC for a couple of months already.
He also shared that DPC aspires to boos the growth of thriving Filipino SME’s because this is the group that fuels the country’s economy.
DPC will begin to offer Office 365 to Open License Customers through its Yellow Pages Online beginning July 14, 2014. All transactions obtained through DPC will be rolled out by Barhead Solutions, Inc. SMEs that will access Office 365 under this program are entitled to a free could service for 30 days, and fee ad placement in yellopages.com for 90 days along with free Premium listing which gives registered SMEs prominence when visitors search the YP site.
