In Thailand, Samsung just announced the Galaxy J7+ with dual camera structure on the rear and it is the second smartphone from the Korean company to have this kind of arrangement.
The Galaxy J7+ sports a full metal unibody design with 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display that supports Always-On display to allow the user to quick glance over the time, date and notifications without waking up the device. Unlike the other J7 devices, the chipset used here is the MediaTek’s Helio P20, that clocks at maximum frequency of 2.4Ghz, along with 32GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. There’s a microSD slot here that supports up to 256GB. It is backed up by a 3,000 mAh battery. It also features a fingerprint sensor, sitting on the home button at the front display.
The dual camera system on the rear consists of a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and it works with a 5-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture. These can be done for producing high-resolution “bokeh” (background) effects and portraits. A 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture is located on the front and comes with a LED flash.
Availability in other countries remains yet to be seen, but in Thailand, the device is now available on pre-order for a price of THB 12,900 or ~P19,870. The sale will begin on September 18 and comes in Single-SIM variant only.
