Sandisk launches Extreme Pro USB 3.0 in PH

Premium and high-performance USB 3.0 flash drive Sandisk Extreme Pro with a write speed of 240MB/sec has been launch in the Philippine market Thursday March 6, 2014 in Makati City, Philippines.

Executives from Sandisk APAC Regional office Peter Mah and Hui Low came over to introduce the new products from Sandisk. The Extreme Pro USB 3.0 offers world-class peformance for tech fans that demands hi-speed transfer and durability in the external storage.

Extreme Pro USB 3.0 is up to 60x faster than the current standard USB 2.0 drives. Featuring 240MB/second writing speed and 260MB/second read speed will transfer a full-length movie in seconds or transfer more than 1,000 large photo files in just 35 seconds. Multimedia Research Group, Inc. said that this is one of the contributing factor why USB 3.0 devices shipments is expected to surpass 2 billions in 2016 compared to 600 millions in 2013.

Sandisk Extreme Pro USB 3.0 is housed on a durable aluminum metal casing that protects the drive agains wear and tear.

Sandisk Exteme Pro USB 3.0 will be out in 128G only and will come with Sandisk SecureAccess software which will provide up to 128-bit of AES file encryption and password protection to secure private files in the drive.

Sandisk Extreme Pro USB 3.0 will be available in the Philippine market this March and will cover lifetime warranty as well. SRP is at P13,500.00
