Leading the effort to “re-humanize” how communication is done within enterprises in a new workplace scenario, Microsoft Philippines has sealed a partnership with Polycom to answer the urgent need for unified communications through Skype for Business.

“Today, enterprise organizations in the Philippines are in for a digital disruption,” said Christian Lim, Office Marketing Business Group Lead for Microsoft Philippines. “As the workforce and the consumer markets become more digital, there is a need for flexible, rich communications, and a reinvented productivity solution that will usher in a new modern workplace”.

Microsoft embraces the new working culture on present-day employees which are soaked in by introducing solutions they have devised in Skype for Business assisting them to unify communications in a heavily scattered workplace.

Available Skype for Business solutions are expanded through Microsoft’s partnership with Polycom to deliver the industry’s first cloud-based video interoperability service. Polycom will also develop new video collaboration and video room solutions for Skype for Business, allowing their users to leverage the ease of use afforded to them by Microsoft, and Polycom’s proven and industry-leading technologies in their new deployments.

 

Unified Communications (UC) for business with Office 365

What Microsoft did is for all features of Lync to be available for Skype for Business. Businesses can now integrate their Outlook accounts into their Skype for Business app; providing them ease in inviting workmates into meetings and Skype calls that dissolve the need to bring their work into the boardroom.

PSTN Calling and PSTN Conferencing by integrating their existing PABX solutions with Skype for Business will deliver a seamless experience for each account users. With Skype for Business present, there is only one tool for IM, video conferencing, presenting content and even telephony and therefore enabling a true audio conferencing to anyone, anywhere.
