My 5-month old Acer Timeline 1810tz is gone. I sold it to a friend just last week, but before finally letting it go, I shop around for its replacement. Since I am satisfied by Acer’s performance I opted that my next Netbook should be the same brand.
So here’s my unboxing photos of the ACER ASPIRE ONE 721.
The package comes in a regular brown box, inside it is the actual notebook packaging which is pretty much standard.
The total shipping weight is around 6.25 lb or 2.84kg so its not so heavy to carry at all.
Inside the box are few items, let me enumerate them so that if you decide to buy, you know what to find inside the box.
- Acer Aspire One 721 netbook
- 6-cell battery at 4400mAh
- AC Adapter made by LiteOn
- Pack of Manuals that includes the warranty certificate
- Acer netbook sleeve
- NO Recovery CD is included*
In July, this model retails at P25k but when you shop today at Gilmore, you’ll get this at only P22,500.00 only. But, just a little warning, in the store where I bought this one, there are only 3 units remaining. I tried other stores and there are no more stocks, there’s one sales lady in one store who told me that there are group of 10 buyers about a week ago who bought one for each of them. Check out the slideshow below for the complete unboxing photos.
The complete specs is right here.

* The recovery disk is no longer included in the package, it is installed in a separate partition already. Should your Windows crash, in the boot menu you just hit Function F10 to start the recovery process.

Yep Calvs, .. I just need to liquidate kasi. Kaya i opted for the 721. Design-wise, 721 is better. Sabi nga ni Abe, design of the 721, specs of the 1810tz,panalo na.
mas maganda pala yung 1810tz. di ko alam na dual core ulv pala yun.
Hi Juan, initially battery life of 1810tz is superior it last about 6 hours, this one gets 4 hours. Processor, hmmm this one is faster but single core, the 1810tz is dual core ulv.
how does it compare it to the 1810tz. Which one’s better? And how’s the battery life with the wifi on and at 50% brightness?
