And I finally gave in.
Yesterday, despite of heavy rains and flood in Makati, I still went to iStudio Shangri-La to pick up the last unit of the 128G flavor of the 2011 Macbook Air 11.6″ which I reserved two days ago. Thank you to Arnold Digital for sharing the best deal in town. Thank you too to Yugatech for joining me pick up my new toy.
This was the last stock for the week! Yes, but don’t worry another batch is arriving tomorrow and/or early next week according to iStudio. So yes, ladies and gentlemen; drumroll for the 2011 Macbook Air 11.6″ or the MBA 11.6″. This 2011 model has two pre-configured models the 2G, 64G which is priced at USD 999 and the 2G, 128G priced at USD 1,199. Locally the 64G is P51,990 and the 128G is P61,990.
With the help of Arnold of Arnold Digital I was able to find easily which among the local stores has stock.

A mini review will come out probably next week at PTB. But let me make an early disclosure that this is my first time to be using a Mac fulltime. I have been a Windows user for a long time. But I guess this is a wonderful switch; a case similar to my being a Nokia fan for a long time and then when I switch to another brand, I never looked back to Nokia. 🙂
