If you are an MP3 addict, more or less you have this app in your PC in the 90s – WinAmp. It was the best music player then, and its shutting down permanently on December 20, 2013. Goodbye, WinAmp.
If you have forgotten the App, click the YouTube click below and listen to the familiar intro made by WinAmp.
According to TechCrunch, WinAmp website including all of its web services will no longer be available after December 20.
WinAmp was sold by NullSoft to AOL for USD80M in 1999. The MP3 player for desktop has released its Android version, WinAmp Sync for the MAC users but never made it to the competition. Even the blog has not been updated for one year now.
You can still download the app.
