Worst passwords of 2015 listed

This should/must be included in your New Year’s resolution. Change that password to a most challenging one. Not 123456, no!

We are publishing this post to encourage everyone to be secure in staying online. Take care of your password. Do not share it to anyone and most of all, please don’t create a very simple password so that your account may not be hacked.

SplashData has an annual list of stolen passwords and the 2015 list has the usual passwords but there are new players too.

According to report, there are 2 million leaked passwords in 2015. As mentioned, there are new passwords that made a debut last year, and some are the usual with a few characters added but still considered to be weak.

Here are the top 25 worst passwords of 2015.

Topping the list is “123456” which has remained unchanged since 2014. It is followed by “password”, and like the top 1, it has remained on top 2.
