When you are on the go and left with your smartphone and there is a need to write and publish your story, WordPress App for Android is your best friend.
While doing nothing the other day during the long weekend, I tried to search the Google Play store for some apps that can be used in blogging. I was able to download Google’s Adsense Dashboard, and Analytics. These two apps lets you monitor your traffic and your earnings.
I also tried to look for WordPress.com app for additional stats for my blog. However I was surprised to see that the WordPress App for Android does not only lets you view your blog’s stats.
With WordPress App for Android you are back on track even without your PC or laptop with you. You get an easy home screen which has straightforward menus, you can make New Post, create New Page, take a Quick Photo and Video, check existing Posts for editing, and the Dashboard button when clicked gets you the the classic view of your WordPress dashboard. Cool!
Opps.. Before you get to the screen above, by the way, you need to register your blog, you have three options – you can start a fresh WordPress.com blog, add a blog hosted at WordPress.com or in our case, add a self-hosted WordPress blog. The setup processor is easy, all you need to input is your user name and password and everything will be configured for you.
And for the stats that I was looking for is also there. It has different login credentials as the case maybe, but jus the same you can also view your blog’s stats from the app.
What is more wonderful about this Androind Apps is it is FREE.
