PH Election Rule for bloggers and Social Media practitioners

The Commission on Election has released a resolution that affects online practitioners that includes bloggers and social media users like Facebook and Twitter.

Comelec Resolution No. 9615 mentions a few restrictions about bloggers and social media users that are involved in political exercise or campaigning.

The resolution is part of the IRR of Republic Act No. 9006 known as the “Fair Election Act”.
