The One – the flagship smartphone by HTC has been launched officially in the Philippines. Aiming to head on with Samsung’s Galaxy S4, the One has a unibody design, un-replaceable battery and a fixed storage of 32G. But wait, under the hood is something that you must consider. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Quad-core 1.7Ghz processor, 2GM of RAM.
HTC will not come out with just a simple specs with HTC One. The Taiwanese company crafted The One with a distinct zero-gap aluminum body and introduces three major features that comes with it.
Blink Feed
It must be probably inspired by Windows Phone 8 live tile, Blink Feed is your live feeds on your Home Screen. You can set it up putting live feeds in your home screen – from News, Social Media, Lifestyle and more. It aggregates the latest content from the most relevant sources of your choice.
HTC Zoe
This is the “Photoshop” of HTC One, with Zoe you shoot high-res photos and transforms your photo gallery into a m otion gallery of memories. It auto-create integrated highlight films from each event comprised of Zoe photos and videos with professionally designed cuts, transitions and effects. HTC comes with a 4-Ultrapixel camera with F2.0 aperture which best works on low light environment.
HTC BoomSound
Your smartphones becomes your all-in-one gadget when you turn it into entertainment hub. Playing movies and audio files will never be the same with HTC One putting two front-facing stereo speakers with amplifier married to its partnership with Beats.
HTC BlinkFeed comes with Sense 5, and Android Jelly Bean OS by Google. HTC One has a 4.7-inch HD 1080P display with the highest resolution display of 468PPI.
Battery is 2300mAh (Samsung Galaxy S4 has 2,600 mAh),LTE and built-in NFC are some of the top features that comes with The One.
It will be available effective today May 24, 2013. Silver and Black colors are the choices and will be live and available at HTC Concept Stores. SRP is P32,990.
HTC PH executives confirmed that they are talking to Globe for a possible partnership with HTC One.

Globe’s distribution of this amazing phone is really really slow. Sad. HTC is blowing their chances on this. First to announce against the S4 and yet S4 is the first to the consumer hands.
