Huawei Ascend P6 and Ascend Mate launched

Chinese phone maker giant Huawei again released another addition to their Ascend series this time getting the title world’s slimmest phone measuring 6.18mm. The Huawei Ascend P6 sports a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch heigh definition display, a stunning 5MP front and 8MP rear facing camera. Their prized device is also capable of 1080P full HD video recording and playback.

The best asset of the device however is the way it conserves its battery which is one of the most sought after features of a smartphone. Some device inreased it battery inreasing also the price tag but this device placed its bet on saving the battery by having its unique Automated Discontinuous Reception (ADRX) and Quck Power Control (QPC) for battery effeciency and power consumption therefore saving up to 30% of juice compared to other smartphones similar to it. It’s also loaded with features exclusively for it like its signature Emotion UI for customization which includes Uni-Home for security. It also has Huawei’s Me Widget, Magic Touch and Smart Reading which can only be found on Huawei’s devices.

Together with the launching of Huawei’s Ascend P6 is also the release of its Ascend Mate. Touted as the supersized pocket cinema phablet, features 6.1” HD display, 1.5GHz quad core processor and a whopping 4050 mAh battery.

A tablet and phone all in one device, the Ascend Mate specializes in the entertainment category due to it’s 6.1” HD IPS+LCD screen with resolution 1280×720. It also has Magic touch, the same as Ascend P6 which delivers screen response even when wearing gloves. Also due to its4050mAh battery and an arsenal of power saving features the same as Ascend P6 has it can withstand 2 days of ordinary usage in a single charge.

Other notable features of the Ascend mate are: dual MIC noise reduction technology, Dolby sound system and stereo recording its and their own “swift sharing,” enabling the device to upload pictures, videos and other files two to three times faster compared to other devices when using Wi-Fi.

Huawei Ascend P6 will be available at Php18,900 and is also available on Globe Best Ever MySuperPlan for as low as P999 monthly at Plan 499 with P500 monthly cashout for na 24- month contract period or at Plan 999 with P200 monthly cashout also for a 24-month contract period.

Huawei Ascend Mate meanwhile will retail at Php17,190 and will also be available on Globe Best Ever My SuperPlan for free at Plan 999 and is also available at Plan 499 wth a P200 monthly cashout over a 24-month contract period.
