Kata launches its latest Android smartphone in the Philippine market. Kata is an additional local brand that will counter with the growing list of local brand such as Cherry Mobile and StarMobile.
Today, Kata launches their latest smartphone, a quad-core 5-inch super HD display royal blue colored smartphone, it has 13MP rear shooter, 16G internal storage with microSD external port that lets you add up to 32G additional space, 1G RAM, and a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor.

If you have been visiting the malls, Kata is used to be the Owtel Store that sells different brand of smartphones. We talked to the marketing manager earlier and she mentioned that they dropped the Owtel branding already to focus on the Kata products moving forward.
Kata i3 is not the first smartphone they released. Previously, they already have the Kata i2.
Kata i3 is only 8.3mm and weighs 153.2 grams. Powering the device is an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and has a dual-microSIM standby feature. Battery is at 2250mAH. I heard from a reliable source that the battery performance is impressive and the 13MP camera is at par with the current competition.
