Sony has unveiled the latest slimmest and thinnest tablet in the industry. Measuring only 0.25-inch or 6.4mm in thickness, Xperia Z2 tablet weighs 15 ounces or 426 grams for the Wi-Fi model. The 3G/LTE model weighs 439g.
Sony used LED display technology for the Triluminos FHD screen on the Xperia Z2 Tablet, it is powered by 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801, 2GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD slot.
The battery of Xperia Z2 has 6000 mAh promising a 10-hour usage on a charge. Xepria Z2 Tablet now uses Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology, which charges the tablet 75% faster.
Xperia Z2 tablet is a 10-inch tablet that will run Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box and will be available in the market by March.
