PLDT launches country’s first LTE for residential subscribers. This is the first LTE broadband that goes direct to home.

PLDT will offer three plans for LTE broadband. Ultera Basic, Utera Max and Ultera Pro. Basic speed is up to 3Mbps, while Max is up to 5Mbps, and Pro is up to 10 Mbps.
Ultera Basic has initial cash out of P999 and activation fee of P2,000 and is capped at 10G per month, MSF OF Ultera Basic is P999 per month. Ultera Max has cash out of P1,599 activation fee of P1,500 and has a data limit of 15G per month. MSF of Max is P1,599 per month. Ultera Pro requires P1,999 cash out, P1,000 activation and capped at 30G per month. MSF of Ultera Pro is P1,999 per month.
According to PLDT, this new service is being rolled out in key areas like Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bataan, Isabela, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Aurora, Cagayan, Abra, Nueva Viscaya, Cavite, Laguna, Quezon, Sorsogon, Palawan, Aklan, Iloilo, Negros provinces, Bukidnon, Leyte, Misamis Oriental, Zamboanga del Sur, Agusan del Sur, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte and Sultan Kudarat.
PLDT Home has been beta testing Ultera in more than 200 pilot sites nationwide.
