A new tablet from Samsung has been introduced last night at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Galaxy Tab A with S Pen is not only for productivity, but also for artists, students and for e-book readers.

The 8-incher tablet has an optimized viewing with a 4:3 viewing ratio making enough space for viewing websites and documents on the tablet. Screen resolution of Galaxy Tab A is 768 x 1024 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab A has enhanced S Pen features with the improved digital handwriting experience. Use S Pen like a mouse and write like you normally write with a pen on a paper.
A tablet with LTE phone functionality
Galaxy Tab A is not your ordinary tablet; while the global market has two versions (Wifi-only and LTE), the Philippine market will get the one with phone functionality. It is even better with the LTE feature because Samsung knew that Filipino consumers always want to be online all the time.
Galaxy Tab A has 16G internal memory which has micro-SD slot for additional 128G storage, it is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor, 5MP and 2MP cameras. The S-Pen that is usually located on the bottom part is now relocated on the upper right corner of the tablet.
All ports are located in one side — power button, volume rocker, SIM card slot and micro-SD slots are located on the right side of the tablet.
Galaxy Tab A has a non-removable battery with 4,200mAH.
