Being included in the Z3N family, the Zenfone 3 Max’s design and its specs is also affected if you compare it to the previous version.
The Zenfone Max (2015) had a huge battery capacity of 5,000mAH versus the current model with a reduced capacity of 4,100mAH. Compared to the previous model with 5.5-inch display, the Zenfone 3 Max has a smaller 5.2-inch display.
It also follows the total makeover of the Zenfone 3 family. It is now housed in a slimmer body and features a fingerprint scanner, one feature has been slashed off like the laser autofocus found in the old model.
Nonetheless, we find the Zenfone 3 Max to be the one priced perfectly in the midrange category. Its SRP is the same as last year’s Max, P8,995.
