Samsung isn’t always about flagship and high-priced smartphones. They also carry budget smartphone such as the Galaxy J2 Prime.
Celebrity Liza Soberano is the brand ambassador for the J2 Prime. She said that she no longer encounter problems taking selfies now because the upgraded J2 Prime has a front flash already. She also commended Samsung for the J2 Prime’s better grip because of the material used in the 5-inch body.
The J2 Prime’s specs have been upgraded in many ways. It has a 5-nch qHD TFT display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz 64 Bit MT6737T quad-core CPU. There’s a Mali T720 GPU, a 1.5 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal storage that can be expanded thru microSD slot up to 256G.
The cameras configuration include an 8 MP f/2.2 w/ AF and LED flash in the rear and a 5 MP f/2.2 w/ LED flash in the front. There is also a removable battery with 2,600mAH.
Color choices for the J2 Prime would be silver and gold.
It will start to be available in all Samsung Concept Stores and other retail outlets beginning February 18, 2017. Official SRP is P5,990.
