Huawei Y7 Prime gets official and seems to be available now in Vmall, an online store in Hongkong SAR, China. Based on the specifications, this phone is the other variant of the mainland China’s Enjoy 7 Plus, exclusive only in that country.

The handset is also upgraded from Y7 that was recently launched and the successor of the Y6 Prime last year. The storage now bumps to 32GB, while the RAM increased to 3GB. The design now comes in a premium build as aluminum being crafted. In addition, the display remains at a respectable HD resolution inside the 5.5-inch panel. At the rear panel is where the fingerprint sensor located, just below the main 12-megapixel camera. Speaking of the front camera, the phone features an 8-megapixel lens for taking selfies.

Based on the listing, it will be available in three colors to choose: Silver, Gray and Prestige Gold. It runs on the company’s EMUI 5.1, based on Android 7.0 ‘Nougat’ on top. The main highlight, its battery, delivers a two-day mixed usage with an impressive 4,000 mAh capacity inside the phone. Huawei did not confirm if there’s a fast charging support, considering the huge battery size.

As of today, it is unknown whether the company has plan to expand the phone outside the country, though the previous model was released in Asian markets like here in the Philippines.
