Pocophone F1 (Philippines)
This may be the real flagship killer, the Xiaomi‘s sub-brand, Pocophone F1.
Firstly, the Pocophone F1 will arrive in the Philippines for sure, but it was launched already in Indonesia.
Some of our friends in the local media went there to cover the event.
The Pocophone F1 is powered by a 2.8GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 845 AIE octa-core processor. That’s right, it is the same CPU found in the OPPO Find X (P49,990), Sony Xperia XZ2 (P43,990), Nokia 9 and ASUS ZenFone 5Z.
And like the old times, Xiaomi has prepared two (2) variants for the Pocophone F1. There will be 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128/256GB versions.
As always, there is an allotted storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
The rear shooter of the Pocophone F1 will include a 12MP f/1.9 Sony IMX363 sensor + 5MP f/2.0 Samsung sensor with Dual Pixel AF, EIS, AI, and dual-tone LED flash
The selfie shooter, on the other hand, has 20MP f/2.0 armed with AI technology.
It will be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.6.
Lastly, there is a 4,000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0.
Availability & Philippine Pricing
The 6GB+64GB variant will be sold for P17,990. You can add few more hundreds for the 8GB + 128GB as it will be available for P19,990. There are no words about the 256GB variant though.
Reports say it will be available at Lazada and Mi Authorized Stores starting September 6.
