MMDA Metro Traffic Navigator, on Beta

MMDA or the Metro Manila Development Authority today launched their Traffic Navigator. This is an online service enabling motorist to view life traffic updates from the Metrobase. The interactive website displays live traffic updates for both Southbound and Northbound vehicles mainly from EDSA, Quezon Ave., Espana, C5, Roxas Blvd., and SLEX. It also show the map for easy navigation.

Nice move MMDA! I have to commend the personality behind this project. They started it by going into the Social Media – the twitter account and Facebook page, now this development. This is how the government should return its taxes to the public! Mabuhay MMDA!

The service is still on Beta and operates from 6:00AM up to 10:00PM only, but they intend to update it 24 hours later. The project is hosted by Interaksyon.com, a TV5 company.
