LG Unveils Less Carbon Everyday Challenge

Even though summer has arrived, the average temperatures have been continuously climbing higher year after year. There is no denying the fact that the climate is changing. It is necessary for all of us to take preventative measures if we want to make a good change.

LG Philippines has just introduced its newest campaign, titled “Less Carbon Everyday Challenge,” with the goal of inspiring people to live more thoughtfully and to make more deliberate efforts to improve the future. The ecologically conscious campaign aims to raise awareness about global warming and climate change while also providing practical guidance on how to minimize carbon emissions with innovative air conditioners from LG for use in residential settings. Everyone is encouraged to do their part in the fight against global warming by participating in the #LessCarbonEverydayChallenge. Participants are asked to make simple changes in their homes in order to reduce their carbon and energy footprints.

A motivational video is used to launch the campaign. In the video, a seemingly insignificant action, such as increasing the temperature of an air conditioner by one degree, results in a “Butterfly Effect” that has a positive impact on the lives of many people. This serves to illustrate that even seemingly insignificant actions can make a significant difference in the fight against the climate crisis. In addition to the film, the website for the campaign provides LG’s professional recommendations for reducing carbon emissions at home, as well as interactive quizzes on the topic of energy-saving and an overview of the company’s most recent environmentally friendly air conditioners.

If you want to help the environment while still maintaining a comfortable environment in your house, setting the thermostat on your air conditioner to a temperature between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius is a good compromise. The remarkable DUAL Inverter Compressor that LG uses in its home air conditioners enables these units to consume up to 70 percent less energy than standard models while also delivering faster cooling. In addition, LG air conditioners that have the AirCare Complete System, which is a multi-stage system that ensures clean and fresh airflow, keep the indoor unit of the air conditioner totally clean so that customers may benefit from clean air in their homes.

The Managing Director of LG Philippines, Sungjae Kim, commented on the spirit of the campaign, saying that “We made our air-conditioning technology as effective as possible so that you may make a minor alteration without losing comfort.” We believe that the best way to move forward and produce larger ripples that lead to long-term and significant change is to take tiny steps toward a brighter tomorrow. Despite the fact that this modification may appear to be insignificant, we think that taking such steps is the best way to move forward.

In order to participate in the #LessCarbonEverydayChallenge, users are strongly encouraged to share and discuss various strategies, methods, and other everyday routines that can help reduce carbon emissions and consumption. One winner will be selected from Facebook, and the other winner will be selected from Instagram. Both winners will receive an LG Window Type Inverter Aircon. You can submit your entry or get more information about the competition through the LG Promo Registration website (www.lgpromoregistration.ph). The offer will run from April 27 all the way until June 8 of the year 2022. The #LessCarbonEverydayChallenge is coming to an end today, and you still have time to sign up! It’s possible that in the long run, your comments will prove to be very influential.
