PLDT Enterprise Strengthens North Luzon Businesses with Enhanced Mobile Connectivity

More than a hundred business leaders gathered in Clark, Pampanga, as PLDT Enterprise hosted the Wireless Product Summit, showcasing mobile-first solutions designed to empower regional enterprises to work smarter, scale faster, and reach broader markets.

North Luzon: A Thriving Hub for Growth

The summit, held at Royce Hotel with the theme “Mobilize Your Success,” highlighted how wireless innovations can unlock new opportunities and address connectivity gaps across Cordillera, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, North Luzon provinces are outpacing national averages in key sectors like construction, health, and financial services, reinforcing the urgent need for agile, reliable, and cost-efficient connectivity as more enterprises expand beyond Metro Manila.

“We’re here in Clark for a reason as we see it as a symbol of how fast North Luzon is growing,” said Josh Montecillo, Assistant Vice President and Head of Enterprise and International Wireless Product Management at PLDT Enterprise. “With the region’s potential, we’re committed to empowering local businesses to seize it through the right mobile solutions.”

Mobile Solutions That Drive Real Business Impact

PLDT Enterprise showcased wireless solutions that address everyday operational challenges:

  • 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) delivers high-speed connectivity for regional offices, clinics, and retail branches.
  • Smart Internet of Things (IoT) enables real-time asset monitoring, logistics tracking, and seamless management of dispersed operations.
  • Mobile Private Networks (MPN) offer secure, enterprise-grade connectivity, ideal for large campuses, hospitals, and industrial sites.

These technologies aim to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and empower businesses to make smarter decisions.

Committed to Regional Connectivity and Growth

PLDT Enterprise reiterated its long-term commitment to North and Central Luzon with ongoing infrastructure investments, including cellsite expansion and the prioritization of 5G and 4G in provinces such as Nueva Ecija and La Union. This builds on Smart’s mobile network, which already covers 97% of the Philippine population.

“This summit is part of a broader strategy to bring enterprise-grade wireless to where the real growth is happening,” Montecillo emphasized. “We’re not just showcasing solutions – we’re building partnerships that will fuel the future of business in North Luzon.”
