ASUS ROG Xbox Ally Series Officially Lands in the Philippines: Prices Start at ₱36,995

Gaming just leveled up. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), in collaboration with Microsoft Xbox, has officially launched the ROG Xbox Ally and the more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X in the Philippines. Both handheld gaming PCs offer console-caliber power and a genuine Xbox experience, right in the palm of your hand.

Redesigned for All-Day Comfort

The new ROG Xbox Ally series features a completely redesigned chassis inspired by Xbox. ASUS listened closely to player feedback to refine the ergonomics—resulting in a more comfortable grip, better weight balance, and improved texturing for a secure hold even during long gaming sessions.

Both handhelds retain the 7-inch FHD IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate500 nits of peak brightness, and FreeSync Premium, all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC anti-reflective coating. These enhancements ensure a durable and immersive display suited for any lighting condition.

Power Under the Hood

At the heart of these handhelds are AMD’s latest Ryzen AI chips designed specifically for portable performance.

  • The ROG Xbox Ally runs on the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM (6400MHz), 512GB SSD, and a 60Wh battery for power-efficient gaming.
  • The ROG Xbox Ally X steps it up with the Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB LPDDR5X RAM (8000MHz), 1TB SSD, and a larger 80Wh battery for extended playtime.

Both models feature AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution, Radeon Super Resolution, and AMD Fluid Motion Frames, ensuring smoother visuals and higher framerates. The Ally X also introduces Impulse Triggers — a long-requested feature among Xbox fans — adding deeper haptics for supported titles.

A True Xbox Experience on Windows 11

ROG and Xbox worked hand-in-hand to optimize the software experience. While the devices run Windows 11, they now boot directly into a full-screen Xbox interface, streamlining access to games, Game Pass, and settings via simple joystick and button navigation.

Quick access features, such as Game Bar, are now just one press of the Xbox button away, while players still retain the complete flexibility of Windows for third-party games, mods, and emulators.

Built-in AI tools, such as Automatic Super Resolution (Auto SR), intelligently upscale visuals in real-time, while Highlight Reels automatically capture your best gaming moments — a handy feature for streamers and creators.

Pricing, Colors, and Availability

The ROG Xbox Ally (16GB/512GB) will be available in white for ₱36,995, while the flagship ROG Xbox Ally X (24GB/1TB) comes in sleek black at ₱56,995.

Preorders begin October 7 through ASUS and ROG Exclusive Stores, with official availability starting October 16, 2025.

Early birds who preorder until October 16 will get the Limited Pre-Order Bundle, which includes a free ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 Premium Case worth ₱2,995 (for the first 100 qualified buyers).

Both handhelds come with a free Xbox Game Pass subscription and a two-year international warranty, providing gamers with peace of mind and non-stop play.
