Acer Philippines has added new tablet to its Iconia family, the first 8-inch tablet to be powered by Intel Atom processor, a Windows 8 OS and will be carried by Smart.
Acer Iconia W8 was first introduced at the Computex 2013 in Taiwan earlier this month. The 8-inch tablet will be powered by Intel Atom Z2760 with 1.5Ghz dual-core processor with burst power up to 1.8Ghz. It has 2GM RAM, 32G Internal storage. It comes pre-loaded with Windows Office Home and Student 2013.
Viewing photos, videos or video calls with Skype will be perfect with Acer Iconia W3, since it has 1920 x 1080 WXGA resolution, a capaticitive 5-touch input touch scren and Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Acer Iconia W3 can ba turned into a tablet with a full-sized wireless BT keyboard which comes as a separate accessory which is ideal for people on the go like students and travel bloggers.
Acer Iconia W3 will be available via Smart and the public by the end of July 2013. Expected SRP is P19,900.
