Acer Philippines Country Manager Mr. Manuel Wong

In the evening of that whole day traffic in the Metro last Friday October 22, 2010  ACER Philippines launched their Smartphones. The E Series – beTouch E130 and beTouch E400, and the Liquid models – Liquid E and the Liquid E Ferrari.

No less than Acer’s endorser Derek Ramsay graced the party. Aside from the local media and bloggers, partners for both consumer and corporate were there too. And according to the one of the organizers, a few motorists were invited too. I guess they are the Ferrari owners. 🙂

I was excited to see for the first time the Ferrari model since I just see Internet photos of which until it was launched last Friday. Lets say that I a bit disappointed about the build – the casing is plastic. It comes with a red pouch which fabric looks cheap too. However, it comes with a cute parter – a red Acer Bluetooth headset which is cool!

The E series on the other hand had a decent or shall I say a corporate look specially the beTouch E400.

Take a look at the photo gallery below taken from the event.
