Huawei is all set to reveal a new smartphone in the region comes February 14, 2020. The Huawei Nova 7i will be launched in Malaysia, GSM Arena reports.

However, GSM Arena said that this isn’t really a new smartphone because it is just a re-branded Nova 6 SE which was released in China.

Nova 7I Colors

Reports also say that the new smartphone will be available in three colors – Magic Night Black, Snow Sky, and Forest Green.

The Nova 7i is a mid-ranger that is equipped with a quad-camera setup with its main shooter having a 48MP. There’s also an ultra-wide and a dedicated macro camera.

There’s a massive display of 6.4-inch IPS LCD that has Full HD+ resolution.

It will be powered by a 7nm Kirin 810 processor and has 8GB RAM + 128GB storage which is expandable.

The battery of the Nova 7i has 4,200mAH that is supports 40W SuperCharge on a USB Type-C port. Huawei says the phone can get a 70% battery charge in just half an hour.

Reports also say that Huawei Nova 7i will also be among the first to ship with Huawei’s home-grown Android 10-based EMUI 10 installed as the operating system.

Huawei Nova 7i price

Huawei Malaysia hasn’t revealed the pricing yet, but in China, the nova 6 SE is sold for CNY2,199 or about P16,128.
