PLDT Home Fibr 1Gbps broadband plan revealed

PLDT Home Fibr 1Gbps is what high-speed Internet is all about.

The other day we were invited again at the residence of Ferdie Ong, an AirBNB host, to witness the live demo of PLDT Home Fibr 1Gbps broadband.

Several gadgets were connected at the same time to the Internet connection provided. We spotted several PLDT Telpads, FamCam, two Smart TV’s, one has TVolution stick with it, few laptops, and all the guests numbering about 20 were asked to connect to the WiFi with 1Gbps speed.

But don’t get too much excited because PLDT Home Fibr infra is not yet available for everybody.

Currently, the Fiber infra of PLDT Home is available to 1,600 plus villages nationwide.

PLDT Home Fibr Plan 50Mbps introduced

While the price of the 1Gbps subscription depends on your area, there is another plan that is equally interesting because of its very affordable pricing.

Lite Plan versus Power Plus Plan

While both are under Fibr plan, Lite Plan has a monthly cap allowance of 80G, it includes FREE TVolution stick with iflix, FOX International channels and Fibr voice line.

Power Plus Plan is the best with speeds of 50Mbps and without monthly cap. That means when you decide to subscribe to this plan, you enjoy Unlimited access.

Lite Plan costs P1,899 per month while Power Plus Plan cost P2,899 monthly.

To check if your area or village is included in the 1,600 plus coverage of PLDT Home 1Gbps Internet subscription, you can go to PLDT Home Fibr home page and try to apply or upgrade. From the menu, you will be asked to input your location.

Villages like Valleverde 1 to 6, Forbers Park, Ayala Alabang, Dasmarinas Village among others are the first to experience this truly high-speed Internet from PLDT Home Fibr.
