So you guess LTE is expensive? Check this out – Smart has launched an affordable rate in “tingi” or buckets so that those Smart subscribers with LTE devices can enjoy an lightning speed internet for an affordable rate that starts at only P50.
“Select Smart Postpaid subscribers can now enjoy speeds of up to 42Mbps on their LTE-enabled devices for as low as P50 a day,” said Smart Broadband Internet and Data Services Head Lloyd Manaloto.
This promo is now up and will be available until March 31, 2013. Those under unlidata, regular and consumable Smart Postpaid subscribers can avail of 1-day, 7-day, and 30-day LTE packages for P50, P299, and P995 respectively.
From your LTE-enabled phone, to buy LTE in “tingi”, simply send the appropriate key word to 2200 (e.g. LTE 50 send to 2200).
Once enrolled, LTE-enabled devices that are compatible with Smart’s LTE network will automatically connect to the service wherever it is available.
To date, Smart LTE is present in over 770 establishments including malls, restaurants, and public areas across 10 cities in Metro Manila and in select areas in Boracay, Cebu, and Davao.
In the absence of an LTE signal, the device will automatically connect to Smart’s 4G High Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network.
Smart LTE bucket rates: P50 for 1day, P299 for 7 days, and P995 for 30 days. This rate is on top of your postpaid subscriptions.
