The tablet is powered by an Intel processor, it has 1.2Ghz single core processor with Hyper Threading feature which acts like a dual-core when it does its job. Intel Atom Z2420 1.2Ghz is under the hood of the Asus Fonepad.
Wowie Wong of Intel PH have tested and used the tablet for two weeks with all features turned on and he gets a 10-hour battery life on a single charge. He says, he doesn’t have to bring extra charger in his car or office. This is amazing considering the tablet has a large screen.
Asus Fonepad has a metallic-finish body which looks elegant, a full 3G phone function, HSPA+ network connectivity, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, weighs 340g, with 1G of RAM and comes in 8 and 16G variants.

MicroUSB port and a 3.5mm audio port is conveniently located at the bottom of the tablet.
It says it will give you 9hours of battery life, this is because the Fonepad has a relatively huge battery. It has 4270mAh 16W Li-polymer battery.
Asus PH will make Asus Fonepad available in the market this May and it has two variants. The 1.2Ghz 8G model will retail at Ph11,995 and the 1.6Ghz 32G model will retail at PhP14,995.
