Samsung unveils Hennessy, a flip-phone Android

Earlier this month, a leak of a supposed to be flip-phone by Samsung was spotted in some Chinese blog. Today, it was made official. Samsung Hennessy is an Android 4.1 dual-SIM flip-phone.

Samsung Hennessy W789 flip phone is measuring 3.3 inches with dual-display, with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean and will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor by Qualcomm with an MSM8660 chipset.

It has a 1500 mAh battery, a 5MP rear camera, a microSD slot, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

It weighs 208grams and measures  110.85 x 59.3 x 18.62mm. The dual-SIM supports CDMA and 3G too.

The flip-phone has been popular before the smartphones was made available in the market. Nokia has versions of flip phones, Motorola and even Samsung has numbers of flip phone before, one of them is the Samsung W999.
