Alcatel's Octa-core Idol X+ revealed #CES2014

Smartphones powered by Octa-core processors will be out this year, and it has started over the #CES2014. Alcatel just revealed OneTouch Idol X+.

Acatel OneTouch IdolX+ will be powered by a 2GHz eight-core MediaTek MT6592 chipset, it will have 2GM of RAM, 13MP shooter and a 2500mAH battery.

“The IDOL range has gained a reputation for offering the best balance of features, performance and design,” said Dan Dery, Chief Markting Officer for ALCATEL ONETOUCH. “The IDOL X+ continues this tradition and is set to surprise and delight with its image capture and display credentials.”

It is almost borderless with “0” bezel, and 2.4 mm edge-to-edge design that will give users more viewing space. It also has an HD IPS display.

The 5-inch Idol X+ packs a 5-inch display with 441 ppi, the front camera has a 2.0MP. The design of the Idol X+ resembles the old Idols with really simple design. It is only 7.9mm thick
